A helpful reminder:
Sep. 10th, 2007 09:34 pmIf you joined the US Do Not Call Registry when it first started (like I did), it's about time to re-up your phone numbers. Just go here:
https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
And you can register up to three phone numbers to a single e-mail address.
Keep in mind that there are still some loopholes: charities, newspapers seeking subscriptions, political folderol, surveys, and any company you have a previous business relationship with are all still allowed to call you.
Also, you know those lovely displays in your local shopping malls that ask you to fill out a card to win a car/boat/penis enlarger/etc? Never a good idea, since you get stuck back on telemarketing lists that way.
And if all else fails, use an air horn.
